MMI Dining System is looking for a Sous Chef at Woodlands Camp in Cleveland, GA.  This position will work for the organization and be responsible for advancing the mission and vision of Woodlands by servicing excellent food with extraordinary service while effectively managing resources.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare all meals under the direction of the Foodservice Manager
  • Foodservice
    • Assist in developing menus and order food
    • Assist in preparing, cooking, and serving all foodservice needs with the help of a team
    • Assist campers and guests with allergies and special diets
    • Assist in catering special events and fundraisers
  • Kitchen
    • Manage and maintain equipment and supply levels
    • Maintain health & safety standards in food preparation and food quality, including staying current on all necessary certifications and passing all health inspections conducted by the state of Georgia
    • Maintain a safe, clean work environment
  • Administrative
    • Assist Foodservice manager in adherence to budget
    • Assist in execution of all foodservice functions
    • Develop and maintain systems for all foodservice related job functions
  • Personnel
    • Train, manage, and lead all foodservice personnel
