The King and Prince Beach and Golf Resort has an opportunity for an HR Coordinator. The Human Resources Coordinator position works both sides of their brain with opportunities for analytics and creativity. This individual is responsible for ensuring the proper implementation of time keeping and recruitment / onboarding policies in association with corporate timelines and procedures while also championing both property-specific team-building activities and company-wide cultural values. The HR Coordinator must have the ability to work independently as well as work under pressure at times and handle a wide variety of activities and confidential matters with discretion.
If you have one or more years’ experience working as an HR Coordinator with experience in time keeping including working with supervisors to correct missed punches and you understand the importance of using technology to keep team members updated and are willing to champion the payroll app, and have experience planning and executing team member functions this could be the job for you.
The ideal candidate will have experience working as an HR Coordinator along with experience working in hotel administration. Experience in recruiting and onboarding is a plus, as this job duties include many of these processes including assisting with job fairs, preparing new hire packets, assisting with orientation, assembling team member files and e-verifying new team members within the required time frame. The person selected for this position must be an ambassador for the hotel with team members and the community and willing to work a varied schedule including some evenings and weekends.
Additional responsibilities include serving as a liaison between the HR Department, Management and J1 Interns. This may include coordinating travel for interns, planning outings and coordination of housing.
